"Famous Potatoes" has been on the Idaho state license plates since 1957 (before that was World Famous Potato). Since people associate potatoes and Idaho globally, we created in 1979 this playful logo to celebrate this unique distinction. Located in Ketchum, (Sun Valley), Idaho, Famous Potato t- shirts have been a local and tourist favorite.
